PMTool — a task and project tracker
A Gantt chart, a roadmap, resources and a wiki that people and AI agents both work with.
What it is
A self-hosted task and project tracker
PMTool started as an analytical layer over Jira and grew into a tracker of its own. Issues can be kept in it directly or imported from Jira.
The risk summary, team capacity, plan vs. actual and project cost are computed from tracker data, with no hand-kept spreadsheets.

Project statuses, product and program health, upcoming milestones, release goals and readiness.
Jira import
Issues, statuses, assignees, hierarchy and worklogs; repeated sync.
Wiki
A built-in plugin based on the LLM-wiki concept: pages in git, with a typed header and links. People and AI agents work with the same files.
Access and API
Fine-grained permissions that explain a denial, scoped API tokens, two-factor sign-in.
Principles
How it is built
Your own server
One process, one SQLite database, Python and FastAPI. Runs in a closed network.
Nothing extra
Most settings take one click, and work can start five minutes after launch. Plugins out of the box: anything can be switched off, and writing your own is straightforward.
